Planning & Zoning faces full agenda | Information



The Paris Planning & Zoning Fee faces a full agenda when the fee meets at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Metropolis Corridor, 107 E. Kaufman St.

Public hearings are scheduled on 5 separate zoning change requests together with a selected use allow in a business district for a self-storage/mini-warehouse at 3055 Clarksville St., the placement of a former nursing house. Earlier this month, Paris Metropolis Council authorized a change in zoning for the property from residential to business.

Different particular use hearings in a business district embody one for a self-storage/mini warehouse at 1405 NE Loop 286 and 2510 Spur 139 and one other for a one-family house in a neighborhood service district at 951 E. Hickory St.

The Metropolis of Paris is requesting the addition of a historic overlay district in a two-family dwelling district at 705 third SE St. whereas MYW Investments requests a change in zoning from agricultural to business at 4005 N. Essential St.

Preliminary and last plat approvals are hunted for properties within the 2000 block of 4th SW St.,1202 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, 600 block of fifth NE St, 455 sixth NE St., 1958 E. Cherry St., 891 Clement Rd and 2296 third SE St.
